My wife Lucrecia and I, Luis, are selling our property after ten wonderful years in the island! Our property, Domergue’s is located in 12 Alamina Drive, Caye Caulker, Belize, and is a very unique place in the sunset side of the island, in front of water. Very private and in contact with nature, in the most residential area of the island. The property includes buildings and walls, all constructed by myself and one assistant. The three townhouses at the back (front of water) are part of the business called “Birdhouses”. (You can find us in Airbnb as “Luis and Lucrecia Birdhouses, Caye Caulker”, Account ID52 702.883, we rent them at about US$95,000 a year.)
The houses are approved by the Building Authority of Belize and I have the approved plans for you to build more of them! Also “Birdhouses” is registered with the Belize Tourism Board (BTB). The property also includes a two story cabin where we live (my wife,14 yo daughter and myself), approx 650sf, a small shed 16x12, and a 16x18 laundry/studio. The terrain is quite big (certainly for Caye Caulker standards) at about 34,000sf. There is enough space to build another two more townhouses to rent with water front view, and another five or six in the front part (that looks onto the street) Still so much space for a swimming pool and more!
Caye Caulker is always growing and investments never come down, our business have been truly amazing and a most rewarding experience.
